YULEE, Fla. -- The two people killed in a murder-suicide on Saturday have been identified by the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.
Frank Hands called police on Saturday just after 7 p.m. and told them that he "just killed his wife," Byrenda Hands, by shooting her. He also told police that they had better come armed, according to a release from Sheriff Tommy Seagraves.
Police responded to the residence in the 85000 block of Theresa Road and heard two shots, the release stated.
SWAT also responded and law enforcement entered the home after they could not make contact with Frank Hands. They found him and his wife dead in the home.
Two witnesses left the house, but were not involved in the incident, which is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
