PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Tuesday a federal judge sentenced 53-year-old Frank Adams to ten years in state prison for secretly video taping underage girls.
A jury deliberated for an hour before convicting Adams October 24. His trial lasted just two days.
According to a news release sent at the time of Adams' conviction, he would earn the trust of underage girls then video tape them without their knowledge.
Court records showed Adams hid a video camera in both his guest bathroom and one of the girl's bedroom closet.
In addition to the voyeurism charge, Adams was also convicted for interception of oral communication for recording one of the girl's conversations and for tampering with evidence.
The tampering charge came as a result of Adam's efforts to destroy evidence on his computer by activating a disk scrubbing program before detectives could serve a search warrant.
