JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A jury convicted a 42-year-old man of attempted second-degree murder Wednesday.
A jury found Reginald Richardson guilty for his role in a stabbing at the Shannon Ridge Apartments in March 2012, according to a news release from the State Attorney's Office.
The release said Richardson and a woman named Jacqueline Fisher got into an argument with a man at the apartments.
Richardson pulled a knife and stabbed the man on the left side of his body during the argument.
When the victim tried to get away, the release said Richardson stabbed the man again. Richardson then gave the knife to Fisher. The knife was later found by police in Fisher's apartment.
In August, Fisher pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
Richardson is also scheduled to be sentenced next week. The release said he faces up to 15 years in prison.
