JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A five-year-old is recovering in the hospital after police say he was struck in the head by a stray bullet while he sat on his living room couch on the Northside.
It happened around 7:30 Tuesday night in the 9200 block of Danville Avenue.
The boy's cousin says he is expected to be ok. Since Tuesday night he was listed in stable condition.
Police Chief Hackney says it was, "by the grace of God they are not investigating a homicide tonight."
Police have not released a motive and have not named any suspects at this time.
