Former Fraternal Order of Police, Vice President Robbie Freitas bonds out of jail

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5-30 Vice President Robbie Freitas was allegedly taken into custody Tuesday and could possibly face charges of racketeering relating to the use of lottery machines in several Allied Veterans of the World Posts/Centers in Jacksonville.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Former, Fraternal Order of Police, Vice President, Robbie Freitas was released from Seminole County Jail Wednesday after posting a $250,000 bond.

Freitas must remain in the confines of his home and Seminole County Jail was ordered to lift the nebbia condition.

Freitas was arrested last Tuesday in connection with the alleged gambling scheme.

Police say that scheme was ran under the front of Allied Veterans of the World.

According to police, Freitas did not have to give proof the money used for his bond was earned legally.
