CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. -- The Camden County Sheriff's Office released updated information Friday in the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old boy.

The boy was approached on Monday by a man who was driving a van claiming that the boy's mother had sent him to pick the boy up.
The man was last seen in the area of Oakridge Court at Kings Bay Sub Base.

The man is described as a Caucasian in his late 30s/early 40s, thin build, short hair in the front with longer hair in the back and may have a goatee or facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a green shirt and a brown leather jacket.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or suspect is urged to call the CCSO at (912) 729-1442 or the Camden County Crimeline at (912) 510-5163.
