PALM COAST, Fla. -- Three people are being charged after an active meth lab on Cooper Lane was dismantled on Friday afternoon.

Will Hodge, 30, Heather Hastey, 42 and Brent Chambers, 35, were charged with Manufacturing of Methamphetamine after a search warrant was served at the home at 1 p.m.

They, along with two other adults and two four-year-old children, were found inside the home, according to a release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

The two other adults were let go without any charges and the Florida Department of Children and Families is determining if the children will be taken into emergency custody.

The Palm Coast Fire Department and the St. Johns County Hazmat Unit assisted FCSO with breaking down the lab, which investigators have been monitoring for the past few weeks.

"Our community, our residents play a vital part in what we are all striving for - a safe community. I wish to thank those who were proactive and reported the suspicious activity," said Sheriff James L. Manfre.
