JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are searching for three suspects who were involved in a shooting on the Northside.
The incident took place Tuesday around noon outside of a restaurant located at 8943 Lem Turner Rd. near Prospect Street.
According to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office police report, one of the victims involved, a 34-year-old male, was taken to Shands Hospital to treat his injuries, which included abrasions and bruises.
The second victim involved was not injured but sustained $800 of damage to his vehicle. Two gunshots damaged the victim's Mercedes Benz ML 500 when the bullets pierced the windshield and front bumper.
All three suspects face charges of aggravated battery and one faces an additional charge of criminal mischief.
Sgt. Bobby Lyle told First Coast News' partner The Times-Union that robbery was a possible motive in the shooting.
