JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Cadezsha Campbell, 19, escaped from an attempted kidnapping that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

Campbell ran to the Canterbury Apartments to contact the police and her ex-boyfriend to pick her up.
According to the JSO report, there were no visible signs of injury. However, the victim reported that her face was sore but refused rescue.
