PALATKA, Fla. -- A man and a woman were arrested on Monday after police found them to be in possession of meth-making items while children were present.
Officers were called to the College Arms Apartments at 2305 Husson Avenue on reports of strong chemical odors in the air, according to a release from the Palatka Police Department.
Cheyenne Liebisch, 30, and Chad Douglas, 26, were each charged with three counts of Child Abuse and Maintaining a Drug Dwelling. Douglas was also charged with Possession of Listed Chemicals.
The children, ages 14, 8 and 1, were released to their next of kin, according to the release.
Bond for Liebisch was set at $15,516 and Douglas was given a bond of $18,020.
