CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's office is searching for a suspect involved in auto burglaries in the Eagle Harbor area.
According to Det. Michael Layne, there have been several auto burglaries of unlocked cars in that area.
The suspect is specifically targeting vehicles parked in large parking lots around 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. while parents are attending their children's sports activities.
The soccer fields on Lakeshore, the tennis courts at Eagle Harbor and Thunderbolt Park have all been hit multiple times.
Det. Layne also believes this suspect may also be connected to at least one case in St. Johns County.
The CCSO also reports that there have been 10 cases involving credit card usage at the same locations.
