POMONA PARK, Fla. - Almost 15 people are facing new charges in Putnam County following compliance checks on individuals currently on probation.
Deputies with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and Officers with the Florida Department of Corrections conducted a week's worth of residential checks to verify that individuals were currently in compliance with their court ordered probation, according to a release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
One suspect, Reginald Robinson, was allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 50 grams of crack and powder cocaine, 17 grams of marijuana and nearly 100 rounds of ammunition, the release detailed.
The 41-year-old was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. Robinson is being held in the Putnam County Jail without bond.
The operation resulted in 14 people being charged with various crimes and the seizure of 52 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of marijuana, 19 narcotic pills and various items of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy stated, "We are grateful to have solid working relationships with other agencies. Our combined efforts keep criminals off the streets and our citizens safe."
