JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A new coach and a new logo: It's been a busy off-season for the Jacksonville Jaguars and momentum is building now that Nike has unveiled the new uniforms. But the new look, introduced more than more weeks ago, is hard to find.
"If you're a small I have you, if you're a double X I got you, but if you're anything else, I can't help you right now," said Sports Mania General Manager Terry Trinidad.
Shirts, magnets, teddy bears--it's easy to see the Jaguars are the hometown team but there's one major thing missing -- the new jerseys.
"We have Maurice Jones-Drew kids' jerseys but most of the people want the adult jerseys," said Trinidad.
Sports Mania has no adult sizes with the new, more aggressive look. The only thing the store has in stock is a few new Jags polos, t-shirts and hats, but as quickly as they come in, they're sold.
Terry Trinidad and his boss have been fielding calls for months and taking heat from fans in person, all desperate for new gear.
"Nike doesn't have them on the shelves right now as far as even the blank jerseys to be made," said Trinidad.
Sports Mania is expecting to get a large shipment of the new jerseys in July.
First Coast News reached out to Nike to get a deadline on the new gear, but we have yet to hear back.
