FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Flagler County law enforcement agencies and the Florida Wildlife Commission are launching a drunk driving and boating enforcment operation for Memorial Day weekend.
Beginning on Saturday, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and the Flagler Beach and Bunnell police departments will be concentrating on identifying impaired drivers.
FCSO's Marine Unit and FWC officers will be on the waterways beginning Friday.
"This holiday traditionally marks the start of summer and there is an increase in traffic as many residents head to the beach or out onto the waterways as part of the long weekend. We want everyone to come home safely," said Sheriff James L. Manfre.
