Westside house catches fire for second time in two days

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at a vacant house for the second time in two days.

Lt. Mike Peery with JFRD said the fire at the home located on the 2800 block of Fitzgerald Street was small, and light smoke was visible when crews arrived.

According to Peery this is the second fire call to the home in two days.

The peach colored, single story home is currently vacant and is owned by an Artrema Green, according to the Duval County Property Appraisers Office.

The State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate the fires.
