ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and Traffic Homicide Investigators responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on SR 16 east of Shands Bridge.
According to a SJCS facebook post, a vehicle was traveling eastbound when a motorcyclist struck the rear of the vehicle while making a left turn.
The motorcyclist was transported to UF Health at Jacksonville with possible life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash has not been determined at this time, possible charges are pending.
The Facebook post did not list the description of the vehicles or the identities of drivers. First Coast News has requested further information from the SJCS and will update the story as it becomes available.
