JACKSONVILLE, FLA-- The public was invited to attend a workshop on upcoming construction of a flyover at the I-95 and JTB interchange.
In addition to the flyover ramp for southbound I-95 traffic to access eastbound Butler Boulevard, the project also includes construction of an overpass for Butler westbound traffic to pass over the westbound traffic from Belfort Road.
The project is anticipated to cost around $78 million dollars and take three years to complete. FDOT says the majority of work will be done at night.
The meeting is at the Best Western Hotel, 4660 Salisbury Road, in the southeast quadrant of the I-95/Butler interchange. FDOT staff will be available from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for informal discussion followed by public comments beginning at 6:30 p.m.
