JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Tina Flowers is concerned about the weather and its impact on her home.
"I had it built from the ground up and here it is three years later and my roof is leaking," she said.
It's not just leaking, Flowers discovered the water is streaming through the electric panel, which is a serious problem.
"My house may catch fire with this electrical issue," said Flowers.
Flowers said she discovered the problem in March, after the circuit breakers kept tripping.
"This line is where the water is coming in," she said.
Her builder is KB Homes and Flowers reported it to the warranty folks.
"They did respond," she said, "but no they did not fix it."
The breakers are tripping again because of the rain.
"This one recently tripped," she said pointing to the panel.
She said it is the circuit that controls her stove. The healthcare provider said she wants the builder to fix the problem so she can have a peace of mind.
A spokesperson for KB Homes said they are aware of Flower's roof leak. Originally when they tried to fix, it did not work. But they will be out here tomorrow to fix the problem.
The spokesperson said they are 100% on it.
