ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Bridge of Lions will be reduced to one lane of traffic beginning on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. while crews install lighting.
The bridge will resume normal operations Wednesday at 6:00 a.m.
Alternating lanes of traffic will be permitted to cross the bridge, according to the City of St. Augustine.
The closure is necessary for the installation of a test segment architectural lighting under the bridge.
The installation was delayed Monday because of weather, and rain could be a factor again on Tuesday.
The City advises that those traveling in the area may want to plan accordingly.
The work will not have an effect on marine traffic.
