JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man's trash is another man's treasure.
If you ever wondered who the main character was in that old cliché, meet Jeff Hansen.
A guy willing to get face deep in a lot of men's trash to find his treasure.
And he doesn't keep this hobby secret. He brings a cameraman, which draws attention.
"They say, 'hey what are you doing?' And I've got a film crew," he said.
It's his personal reality show "Trash Gold." He's made three mini-episodes for YouTube already.
All about his hunt for things he can sell from the dumpsters of Jacksonville.
He think he can get 100 bucks from the stuff he found Wednesday.
Puts his find on craigslist, then videos the bargaining process.
"Since I've done it, I've made three grand," he said.
And in the world of trashy reality TV, this show may be at least one man's treasure.
"That would be my dream job: To go through trash and make a living at it, and let the America see it."
