JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two people were shot outside of Applebee's on 103rd Street by a man who allegedly asked them for money, according to our news partner The Florida Times-Union.
Around 2:30 a.m., the man asked a group of five people standing outside the restaurant for money and they gave him a few dollars, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Detective C.R. Bear told the Times-Union.
The man returned, asked for more money and got into an argument. He then fired two shots, injuring two people.
The man then left the area on foot.
The victims were taken to UF Health at Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries.
