JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The state Department of Transportation in partnership with the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization is putting up electronic informational signs throughout Clay and Duval counties, according to First Coast News' partner the Florida Times-Union.
Seven of the new signs will be along Blanding Boulevard in Clay County. Interstate 95 will also add signs.
The signs are intended to keep motorists informed of crashes or other traffic delays ahead.
Signs also are planned for San Jose Boulevard, Beach Boulevard, U.S. 17 and U.S. 1.
