JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The drive-by shooting that lead to the death of 13-year-old Jazmine Shelton is a story that Sarah Mills-Russo knows all too well.
Mills-Russo's sister, Donna Mills, was also shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in 2007.
Mills, 29, was asleep in her bed on the Westside when she was killed.
Mills-Russo sent First Coast News an email urging us to remember her sister.

"If you could please mention her story when covering the recent shooting our family would greatly appreciate it. Her killer is still unknown," Mills-Russo said via email.
Police discovered Mills' body while investigating a second report of gunshots about 11 a.m. that day in Dec. 15, 2007 at The Preserve at Cedar River apartments on Confederate Point Road.
