ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A St. Johns County school bus was involved in a three car crash Monday afternoon.
The bus was not carrying any students at the time.
Around 2:30 p.m. the school bus struck a Toyota Camry from the rear. The crash sent the Camry into another Toyota vehicle at the intersection of Kenton Morrison Road and 4 Mile Road in St. Augustine, according to St. Johns Sheriff's Officer Charles E. Mulligan.
There were a total of five people involved in the incident.
Three people were on the bus, including the driver and two aides. Each of the Toyota's involved carried one driver.
The bus driver was transported for precautionary reasons, but no injuries were reported.
According to Mulligan, charges are pending on the bus driver and the investigation is continuing into the cause of the crash.
