PALATKA, Fla. -- Police on Wednesday afternoon arrested one of two suspects who allegedly robbed the Bingo Palace on Monday morning.
Bernard Ash, 24, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, grand theft, armed robbery, according to a release from Palatka Police Department Asst. Chief James Griffith.
Through evidence, investigators were able to determine that Ash was one of the robbery suspects.
Ash was tracked to an area in Palatka by the PPD and arrested with the assistance of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals.
Griffith said investigators are still working to identify the second suspect in the robbery. Ash is being held without bond in the Putnam County Jail.
