JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A monster tooth ache makes it hard to eat. Sylvia was hurting and she tried everything from baking soda to aspirin.
"It was going to cost me 12-hundred to 13-hundred dollars, impossible, very impossible," said Sylvia.
Maybe you're like Sylvia, you need a dentist but no way you can afford it.
Unfortunately, there's an estimated 400 to 500 people are on the waiting list for the Healing Hands clinic.
That's why we're trying to raise funds to build a new dental clinic,
which could serve 6,000 patients right away when it opens, per year.
The Weaver Foundation is matching donations up to $100,000.
The new clinic would serve uninsured, low income adults and children on the First Coast.
