ST. JOHNS, COUNTY, Fla. -- Police have arrested four suspects who allegedly burglarized several vehicles throughout the county, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
In the past couple of months, SJCSO had been investigating the series of burglaries in the Northwest District. A tip from a family member of one of the juvenile suspects helped to uncover the location of the property that was stolen during the robberies.
As the investigation continued, detectives were able to identity a juvenile suspect. This suspect was arrested back in late August, on unrelated charges, and again earlier this week.
The detectives were able to gather information from the juvenile suspect that helped identify three additional suspects, Brandon Stephen Connell, 18, Montgomery Sinclair McCaffrey, 19 and another juvenile suspect.
Investigators determined that all vehicles in these cases were unlocked.
This is an ongoing investigation and police are seeking information in the burglary cases and are looking to find the owners of other properties that were involved in the investigation.
Anyone with additional information is requested to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-8477 or Detective Samantha English at 904-209-3986.
