JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man is in stable condition after allegedly being shot in the leg while driving on Interstate 95 late Tuesday night.
According to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office police report, the man driving a silver Camaro by himself left the Pipeline Gas Station, 4211 Moncrief Road.
After getting on I-95 soutbound from Golfair Boulevard, he saw a vehicle pull up along his driver's side and heard 10 shots fired.
According to the report, he then exited I-95 onto westbound MLK Parkway, got out of the car and flagged down a car that drove him Baptist Hospital. He was then transported to UF Health at Jacksonville.
The man told police he did see what kind of vehicle it was, what type of weapon was used or who was shooting at him.
