JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts stampeded through Jacksonville Sunday afternoon to a 34-4 victory.
While the Colts first round pick tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense, throwing for 260 yards and 2 touchdowns, the Jags former first round quarterback pick looked like a future free agent. The banner reading "Tebow Why Not?" being pulled behind an airplane circling above the field loomed overhead like a vulture.
Blanie Gabbert threw 3 interceptions on 17/32 passing for 179 yards. Gabbert averaged just 5.6 yards per completion for a 21.0 quarterback rating. He missed last week after suffering a hand injury that required stitches.
The running game didn't offer much support for Gabbert.
Maurice Jones-Drew had 13 carries for 23 yards. The Jags rushed for a total of 35 yards.
Luck, Trent Richardson and Donald Brown combined for 154 yards on the ground.
The Colts felt comfortable enough with a fourth quarter lead to bring in former back up QB and former Tennessee Titan Matt Hasselbeck to play a series.
Many fans vacated the stadium before the end of the game, leaving a sea of teal colored seats in EverBank Stadium.
The loss drops the Jaguars to 0-4 on the season.
Next Sunday Jacksonville will travel to St. Louis to play the Rams at 1 p.m.
