NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. -- A housekeeper has been arrested and charged in the alleged theft of several items from a Fernandina Beach home.

Antiques and silver serving dishes were among the items allegedly stolen from a residence on Marsh Hawk Road, according to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office. A NCSO news release said the homeowner noticed several items missing between Sept. 15-24, including a sterling silver antique coffee pot, an antique pitcher, 14 sterling place settings, and silver serving trays and bowls.

The release says items are valued at $12, 950.

Many of the missing items were apparently pawned at Precious Metals Group in Yulee, Florida. The Sherriff's Office says its investigation revealed that the suspect in the thefts and pawning was housekeeper Lynn Bowen, 41, of St. Marys, Ga.

During the interview with NCSO Deputies, Bowen allegedly admitted to taking the items, as well as jewelry, and pawning it.

Bowen was arrested for grand theft, dealing in stolen property, and false verification of ownership of pawned items.
