ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Vehicle access to St. Johns County beaches are temporarily closed due to weather.
The beach access is closed through November 6, according to a County Commissioners release.
It is closed due to high tides in excess of 6 feet, large surf from the northeast wind, and new-moon high tides. The conditions require adjustment to the driving lanes and parking areas.
Vehicle access gates at Vilano Beach and Porpoise Point remain open and will be evaluated each morning, the release details.
