JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Bradford County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force arrested three people Monday in connection to a marijuana distribution investigation.
On Tuesday at about 4 a.m., the BCSO Drug Task Force concluded an undercover operation that began after receiving complaints about the sale and distribution of marijuana from two Bradford County homes.
According to a BCSO Facebook post, detectives discovered three residents who would allegedly obtain large marijuana shipments. The three suspects worked independently to allegedly distribute the marijuana throughout the county.
The BCSO Drug Task Force used confidential informants and undercover agents to purchase felony amounts of marijuana, the post said.
Detectives arrested 33-year-old Maurice Hankerson, 22-year-old Tressen Risby and 41-year-old Doug Holland. During the investigation two vehicles were seized and more than three pounds of marijuana, over $2,200 in cash and a firearm were recovered.
