St. Johns County Sheriff's Office looking for two alleged sunglasses thieves

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is seeking two women in an October theft from the Sunglass Hut at the St. Augustine Premium Outlets.

Eight pairs of designer sunglasses were taken from the store on October 14, according to a release from SJSO Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw.

One of the suspects was identified as 25-year-old Letoria Matthews of Duval County. Detectives are still working to identify the other female suspect.

Matthews is also suspected in a March theft from Rainbow Shades at the St. Augustine Outlets, where six pairs of Gucci sunglasses valued at $2,200 were taken.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is also seeking Matthews for several alleged thefts, the release detailed.

Anyone with any information on whereabouts of Matthews or anyone who can identify the second suspect is asked to contact SJSO Detective Andy Stoinoff at (904) 209-2148.
