PALATKA Fla. -- New information in a November 8 case leads to the arrest of 55-year-old Michael Floyd.

On Nov. 8 someone allegedly cut the fence and took two generators from the National Guard Armory compound at 1301 Moseley Avenue.

According to the Palatka Police Department press release, a possible suspect was identified on Nov. 12 when the investigation revealed that Floyd had sold wire similar to that stolen from the armory to a metal recycler on Nov. 8.

Floyd was arrested on Nov. 14 and held at the Putnam County Jail for dealing in stolen property and giving false verification of ownership.
