JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to a two alarm fire on the Westside Monday morning.
The blaze broke out around 10 a.m. at the Victory Pointe apartments in the 6700 block of Ramona Boulevard in the the Normandy Village area.
The fire tore through six apartments, displacing six adults and 15 children, according to JFRD.
A cause of the devastating fire is unknown at this point in the investigation.
Forty-four fire fighters were called to the scene to extinguish the fire and found smoke and flames visible upon arrival.
No injuries were reported and the American Red Cross is on scene to assist the 21 people displaced by the fire.
