JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police are searching for a woman suspected of robbing a vitamin store.
The suspect, described as a 25 to 30-year-old woman, entered the GNC store in the 4400 block of Roosevelt Boulevard at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday, according to a release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
When the suspect entered the store, she covered her mouth with a tissue, the release detailed, which did not seem suspicious since it is flu season. She then approached a witness, showed a gun and demanded cash.
The suspect fled the store wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans and a blue ball cap, with an undetermined amount of cash, according to JSO.
A witness told police the suspect had acne scars on her face and that stretch marks were visible on her stomach when she lifted her clothing to display the firearm.
Anyone who has any information about this unknown suspect is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.
To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
