JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for three suspects in a carjacking that took place Christmas morning.

The three unknown suspects are being charged with Home Invasion Robbery with Firearm or Deadly Weapon, according to a JSO incident report.

The victim told police he went outside to his vehicle in the 3200 block of Justina Terrace around 6:20 a.m.

As he was going back inside his apartment, the man said three males allegedly approached him from behind.  The victims said two suspects pointed handguns at him and one was acting as a lookout.

The suspects were wearing gloves, black skull caps, black bandanas and were dressed in all black, according to the report.

The two suspects with guns forced the victim onto the ground and he told officers one of them allegedly struck him in the mouth with a gun and the other took his keys.

All three suspects then fled in the victim's 2005 tan Nissan Altima, which was later found to be crashed into a parked car at 7107 Merrill Road.

According to the report, a similar robbery with a similar method of operation took place on Christmas Eve in the same area.
