JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On the first day of the new year, new red light cameras will be snapping away.
The four new cameras will on the highly-traveled and sometimes headache-inducing Blanding Boulevard.
-The first camera is on the eastbound approach of Argyle Forest Boulevard at Blanding.
-Another camera is watching the northbound approach on Blanding Boulevard at Youngerman Circle.
-Last there are two cameras watching NB and SB Blanding at Collins Boulevard.
Though the cameras will be operational starting Wednesday, you will have a 30 day grace period where you will only get a warning, not a ticket!
So slow down and don't try and squeak through any of those red lights!
