ATLANTA -- Authorities say a bank director accused of losing millions of investors' dollars before vanishing last year told law enforcement his family didn't know he was still alive.
Aubrey Lee Price was arrested Tuesday on Interstate 95 in Brunswick. He had disappeared in June 2012 after sending a rambling letter to his family and acquaintances saying he had lost millions of investors' dollars and planned to kill himself.
His family told investigators at the time that they believed he was dead, and a judge declared him dead a year ago.

An FBI spokesman says Price told law enforcement his family didn't know he was alive and that he returned to Georgia Tuesday to renew the tag on his truck. It wasn't clear where he'd been for the previous 18 months.
