JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 31-year-old woman has been indicted by a grand jury on 43 counts of tax fraud in Jacksonville on Thursday.

According to a Department of Justice press release, tax preparation business owner Fuada Delic of Delica's Tax Service is charged with 2 counts of filing fraudulent tax returns, on her own behalf, and 41 counts of filing fraudulent tax returns on behalf of her business customers. If convicted, Delic faces a maximum penalty of 3 years behind bars per count.

Delic allegedly filed personal tax returns in which she underreported the income that she received from the tax preparation business on or about April 14, 2009 and September 28, 2010, according to the indictment. The indictment alleges Delic also filed tax returns for customers, falsely claiming that they incurred educational expenses, tax credits and charitable contributions.

The filed returns span the 2008 through 2010 tax years.
