JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The On Your Side team is taking your questions, getting solutions and finding answers for you.

It is the second Friday of the month and that means it's time for the monthly "First For You Friday" phone bank.

On Friday morning on Good Morning Jacksonville, you saw Ken Amaro and his On Your Side team field your calls.

Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 6:30 pm, we'll be back at it again.

If you have questions or concerns, call (904) 632-1200 during that time period.

We are already getting results. Here are some of your problems we're getting solutions to:

1. Michael called the phone bank and said he dropped his car off at a gas station repair shop on December 5. He said he partially paid $1,500 up front for the work to be done. But, he said he still has not gotten his vehicle back. He said he wondered what is taking so long and when he can get his car.

FCN contacted the auto repair shop. Manager Bob told FCN:

"I feel bad about this. I am having a mechanic come by today."

The manager went on to tell FCN that he has been on contact with Michael daily. As for what is taking so long, the manager said a lot of work has been done on the vehicle. The manager assured FCN that Michael would be able to have his car back by Wednesday of next week.

2) Dean said he sold two veterinary clinics but feels like he is being taken advantage of by investors. He asked for help in trying to find an attorney. FCN suggested he contact the Florida Bar Association at (800) 342-8011.

"Thank you for the help I really appreciate it," he told FCN.

The Jacksonville Bar Association's lawyer referral service can be reached at (904) 399-5780.

Dean and others seeking legal help may also want to consider Florida Legal Services which helps some people who can't afford an attorney.

This Florida Law Help website can help you find legal help for a myriad of issues. Just click on "Find Legal Help" and enter your city, county or zip code as well as choose your legal issue.

3) Minnie Johnson said she is having an issue with a car repair facility in Jacksonville. She said the shop charged her $300 for work that was not done on the car.

FCN suggested she contact the Florida Division of Consumer Services at 1 (800) 435-7352

Minnie might also want to consider consulting an attorney.

4) Terry Sr. called the OYS phone bank and said he wants to file a complaint about the Duval County Courthouse. He said he felt he was not able to make an appointment in reference to a case he is involved in. FCN directed him to the Duval County Clerk of Courts at (904) 255-2000.

"I appreciate you helping me," Terry Sr. said during the OYS phone bank Friday morning.

FCN also directed him to file a complaint with the City of Jacksonville's Human Rights Commission

If you too have a concern, you can call the city's HRC at (904) 630-4911

5) Tony called the OYS phone bank and said his water meter "went out more than a year ago."

FCN suggested he contact the utility company as well as the Florida Public Service Commission at 1 (800) 342-3552.

He also said his water bill jumped from $300 to $700. Tony asked about his rights as a tenant.

FCN directed him to the Florida Bar Association to explain his rights and duties as a tenant in Florida.

"Thank you so much." Tony told FCN during the OYS phone bank. "I appreciate the help."

6) Leonard told FCN that he reported his Wells Fargo debit card as lost in early December, but then a $3,000 charge popped up on it. The On Your Side team jumped into action.

FCN called and a Wells Fargo spokesperson said they will contact Leonard and will work to resolve the issue.

The Wells Fargo spokesperson also said that any Wells Fargo debit card customer is protected with zero liability with VISA. That means, when you promptly report the card as lost or stolen or unauthorized transactions, you will you won't be held liable.

7) Remember when Nana Hilsenbeck told FCN that a UPS driver placed her package in the trash can and left a note on the door?

The trash was eventually dumped out. Nana called the OYS team out of frustration and we jumped into action and got results. UPS has given Nana her money back for the package, approximately $200.
