JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Family remembers their loved one who was killed two years to the day of the collapse of the Berkman II parking garage.
Two dozen people were working in the structure when it buckled and collapsed.
The garage collapsed while under construction on December 6, 2007, killing construction worker William Edwards III.
Edwards' mother, Melanie Wesley spoke said she hurts the most for her grandchildren not growing up with their father. "And my grandchildren, they are hurting. Have a conversation and it's always before that building fell and killed their daddy, and what answer am I supposed to give them?"
The construction company hired to build the parking garage at the Berkman Plaza II says osha has cleared it of any wrongdoing in the deadly collapse.
