JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A teenager has been arrested for attempted murder in connection with Wednesday's shooting outside a Westside pool hall, and said he doesn't remember anything.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Jamey Lee Edgington is in jail not only for attempted murder, but also for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The victim in the shooting told police he had gotten into an altercation inside Blanding Billiards.
He said he went out the back door, and as he was leaving he saw a dark blue truck coming toward him.
The victim said he saw Edgington point a gun at him and open fire, shooting him several times. He also said Edgington then tried to run over him.
Police found Edgington in his truck late Wednesday, and he was booked into the Duval County jail at 1 a.m. today.
According to JSO, the entire incident in the parking lot was captured on surveillance video.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
