In addition to a regular ballroom dance, each celeb had to perform as part of a trio for a second dance. It was Menage a Trois time on Dancing With the Stars.

Here's how the celebs did:

William Levy, dressed in tails, danced a playful foxtrot with pro Cheryl Burke that was both suave and sexy. The audience loved it. The judges? Carrie Ann Inaba said, "It was like a super hot sexy Pink Panther," adding his movement was "exquisite." Len Goodman said it mixed "care and flair." Bruno Tonioli said William "couldn't be more debonair" if he tried. Scores: 10, 10, 10 = 30

For his second dance, William danced a paso doble with Cheryl and pro Tony Dovolani. He wore a mask, playing Zorro. Len "liked the way it all came together." Bruno called the guys "raging bulls." Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27 Total: 57

Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower danced a jaunty, cute foxtrot that suited the Disney star perfectly. "It was like watching a young Mickey Rooney," said Bruno. "Two little dancing Munchkins," said Len. Scores: 10, 9, 10 = 29

For his second dance, Roshon did a laser-light show/bullfighting paso doble with troupe member Sasha Farber and Chelsie. Bruno noted that Roshon lost it a "couple of times." Carrie Ann praised the routine, but agreed with Bruno. Len raved about Roshon's "tight buttocks!" Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27 Total: 56

Donald Driver, decked out in a suit and bow tie, danced a tough-guy tango with pro Peta Murgatroyd. The judges loved it, raving about the "aggression" and "power" of the dance. Said Carrie Ann: "You were in the zone," but she wanted "a little more drama." Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27

For his second dance, Donald danced with Peta and Karina Smirnoff for a fun and lively jive. Said Carrie Ann: "I loved your three way!" Scores: 10, 9, 9 = 28 The crowd disagreed in a big way, booing big time. "We thought it was triple 10s tonight," said Donald. Total: 55

Katherine Jenkins and USA TODAY blogger Mark Ballas performed a Viennese waltz that included a spinning move that looked almost painful to her back and she hit the floor and then arched and had to come out of it. It was a moment that didn't quite work right and the judges noted it, but also praised her technique and lines. Said Carrie Ann, "You lost your balance. You weren't on your footing." The crowd started booing and the other judges argued. Scores: 8, 9, 9 = 26

For her second dance, Katherine danced a cha cha with Mark and Tristan MacManus. They all started out in suits and at one point, the guys ripped off Katherine's suit to reveal a spangly dress, but they didn't quite get it all off and Katherine had to dance several steps with a piece of a pant leg around her shoe, but she didn't miss a beat. Bruno thought it was "sexy and cool." Carrie Ann liked her fire. Scores 10, 9, 10 = 29 Total 55

Maria Menounos performed a romantic Viennese waltz with Derek Hough for her first dance. She and Derek were shown struggling in rehearsals, but on the ballroom floor the two once again wowed as they performed the dramatic dance wearing shades of grey costumes. Bruno called it "heavenly fluidity," which brought Maria to tears. "I loved this dance and I loved the music and I love dancing with him," explained Maria. Carrie Ann was also welling up. "Something magical is happening between you, beside the dance," she said. Len quibbled that Maria "wasn't in hold" for enough of the dance, and the crowd promptly booed him. "I was a little bit of a jerk," Derek admitted to host Brooke Burke-Charvet of his rehearsal behavior. Scores: 10, 8 , 10 = 28

For their second dance, Maria and Derek were joined by troupe dancer Henry Byalikov - all three showed off their amazing abs! - for a Bollywood-themed number. Maria looked like a belly dancer as they shimmied around the ballroom floor. Bruno loved it because she was like the "jewel" framed by the two guys, but said she lost her footing a little bit. Len didn't like that it was billed as a samba, but didn't have much samba. Scores: 9, 7, 9 = 25 Total: 53

Melissa Gilbert said there's been "a considerable uptick in the head-butting" with bad boy pro Maks Chmerkovskiy, who was shown during rehearsals using language that required a lot of bleeping as he talked to her and threatened to leave the room before he punched something. "If it becomes too much of a berating, belittling argument, I just shut down," Gilbert explained to the cameras. Cut to Max, who told her, "You're making me look like a terrorist but I'm not." Gilbert said to the cameras, "There is no way I can make him look like a bad guy, but he can." On the dance floor, Maks, in a tie and glasses, looked Clark Kent-ish for their foxtrot. Melissa had some slight footwork problems, noted by all the judges. "Yes, there were a couple of mistakes, but the presentation was the best you've done to date," said Bruno. Melissa told Brooke Burke-Charvet that the tension was just "a tough day." Maks explained, "I truly want the best for this woman. I love her with all my heart." He added, "Moving forward, it won't happen again." Scores 8, 8, 8 = 24

Maks' brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, joined Melissa for their second dance, a samba. And she was just the perfect filling for the Chmerkovskiy sandwich. The judges raved. Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27 Total: 51
