JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department firefighter has been suspended for using a work computer to allegedly look at porn.
Michael Allen, who has been with JFRD since August 1994, has been suspended for 20 days, the equivalent of one month, said JFRD spokesman Tom Francis.
Francis said the suspension was due to "the misappropriation of a city resource in the form of a computer to view what is deemed to be salaciously inappropriate contact."
Allen is a fire suppression chief who works at Station 18. He has been a district chief since 2010.
