Ford's Mustang got a styling refresh for 2013 and so did the Shelby GT500 Super Snake. The latest version will be available with either 662 horsepower or a whopping 850 horsepower.

Upgrades include a wider body kit to accommodate 20 inch rims.  Brakes are beefed up, there are Borla exhausts, a new sports suspension and an upgraded cooling system.

But these new tuning packages for the Ford Shelby GT500 don't come cheap. The coupe starts around $55,000 and the convertible starts around $60,000.

If you want the 662 HP Super Snake, add another $28,995; or get ready to write a check for an additional $39,995 to get the 850 HP Super Snake package.

Bottom line: Get the top of the line convertible Super Snake and you'll be heading north of $100,000.
