JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man who shot and ran over another man outside of Blanding Billiards in 2011 has been found guilty of attempted murder.
Jamey Edgington, 21, was also found guilty on Friday of possession of a firearm by a juvenile delinquent found to have committed a felony act, according to a release from the State Attorney's Office.
Edgington was initially arrested after the attack on Reginald Martin in March 2011. Video surveillance showed that Martin and Edgington got into a verbal argument inside, according to the release.
Martin then left the business, went to get in his car and Edgington fired three shots at him from behind the wheel of his pick-up truck. As Martin tried to get away, Edgington then tried to run him over.
Additionally, Edgington is also charged in a 2011 double murder and faces the death penalty if convicted. In 2008, he was convicted on a carjacking charge.
