JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- According to power companies in Northern Florida, areas affected by Tropical Storm Andrea lost power.
Florida Power and Light had earlier reported multiple outages in each of the areas of Live Oak, Lake City, St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach, and Daytona Beach with over 100 customers affected in Palm Coast, where FPL is currently working to restore power.
JEA had crews on site from Atlantic Beach to Southwest Jacksonville all the way down to Fruit Cove where over 250 customers are experiencing outages with over 100 customers out of power on the corner of Beauclerc Rd and Scott Mill Rd.
UPDATE: As of 1:30 a.m. on Friday, FPL reported that 60 customers between Greenbriar Road and State Road 16A in St. Johns County, and 83 customers near 9 Mile Road and U.S. 1, were without power.
UPDATE: As of 1:30 a.m. on Friday, JEA reported that a total of 491 customers were without power.
