ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Stills were set up in the future home of the St. Augustine distillery Wednesday.
Phil McDaniel has worked toward creating and operating a micro-distillery for two years.
Half way through, he learned Florida law would prevent him from selling his gin, whiskey, and rum to customers on site.
State representative Doc Renuart created a bill to change that law and the legislature agreed to change it this past session.
So now - customers will be able to buy the liquor - that is made from the stills that were set in place today.
