Jacksonville Sheriff's Office looking for armed robbery suspect

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery that happened Thursday night at a Kangaroo station on the Westside.

An unknown man wearing a red skull cap with eye cutouts over his face came into the Kangaroo gas station located on 14801 Normandy Boulevard around 11 p.m., demanding money while pointing a black handgun.

According to a release from Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda, the suspect pulled the skull cap up and revealed his face to the camera once he was outside of the gas station.

The suspect is described as 25-35 years old, with an earring in his left ear and short blonde hair. In addition to the skull cap, he was also wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.
